Mortgage Operations Scorecards and Cycle Time Dashboards
Tableau scorecards and cycle-time dashboards for a mortgage lender that had never measured its production teams — where the hard part was defining the metrics, not drawing the charts.
Trudanda
A mortgage-industry data processing company I built Tableau scorecards and cycle-time dashboards for.
Trudanda is a data processing company serving the mortgage industry. Its model is to link a client’s data from multiple systems into production dashboards and scorecards, so leadership can actually see how the operation is running.
In 2019, through what is now AspirationalX, I was the developer behind two of those deliverables for one of Trudanda’s clients, a mortgage lender whose production teams had never been measured: a per-processor scorecard and a cycle-time dashboard covering roughly thirty-four stage-to-stage durations. The substantive work was metric definition — deciding which date field anchors each metric, because that decision determines what the number means.
It was a short, focused engagement rather than a long relationship, and it is on this site for the same reason the longer ones are: the record is meant to be complete. The full detail, including the trade-offs, is in the case study: Mortgage Operations Scorecards and Cycle Time Dashboards.
