The Solar House Team at Missouri S&T is a university engineering team focused on solar energy collection, sustainable housing design, and renewable energy research.
I designed energy systems and researched Solar Thermal Electric Panels (STEP) for residential applications. That research contributed to an EPA SBIR proposal focused on residential energy monitoring and optimization, and it was one of my early experiences building at the intersection of engineering systems, applied research, and proposal writing.
