LEGO has been part of how I think, learn, and express ideas since I was young.
Part of what I love about it is that it turns imagination into structure. It is a tool for understanding how things work, for testing forms and mechanisms, and for giving shape to ideas that are easier to build than to explain in words alone.
I also appreciate how approachable LEGO is. Other people can enter the system quickly, but the possibilities are still extremely deep. That combination makes it powerful for creativity, modeling, teaching, and collaboration.
I have built many models over the years, and Technic has been a particular favorite. I have also used LEGO to build things like my FRC robot and to create pieces that help explain mechanical actions or larger ideas to other people.
