This page reflects where my time is actually going, not just where I intend for it to go.
Time is one of the clearest signals of what a person is responsible for, committed to, distracted by, or trying to build. Looking at time honestly can reveal priorities, constraints, imbalances, and unfinished transitions.
I keep this page because I want the use of my time to become more conscious, more aligned, and more representative of what I truly care about.
Where The Last Quarter Actually Went
This breakdown comes from my own task-tracking system — the closed work items from roughly April through early July — not from memory or intention.
- Infrastructure and AI platform work was the largest single block by a wide margin: turning the homelab into a production-grade platform (identity, ingress, storage, observability) and operating AI agents on top of it with real engineering discipline.
- Personal and family operations — the steady stream of life logistics, travel, commitments to people, and the systems that keep them from becoming chaos.
- Physical building at home — a long run of LED lighting builds, landscaping, and home systems; the hands-on counterpart to the systems work.
- Finance and administration — bookkeeping delegation, account structure, tax records, and the unglamorous work of making the financial layer legible to more people than me.
- This site and public legibility — the Notion-to-Hugo migration matured into case studies, a media kit, CI guardrails, and steady writing.
- Venture operations and resolution — supporting AspirationalX’s operating layer, and quietly closing the long tail of earlier ventures.
- Community and learning — robotics volunteering, hackerspace involvement, amateur radio, and time with people who make the work mean something.
