I do not admire people because they are famous. I tend to notice people who build, invent, persist, bridge disciplines, help others, or find ways to make powerful things real in the world.
The list is eclectic on purpose. It reflects the range of qualities I respect: technical excellence, creativity, courage, stewardship, public communication, and the ability to turn vision into something tangible.
These people inspire me:

- Dean Kamen: An American inventor and entrepreneur, Dean Kamen is known for inventions such as the Segway PT and advanced medical devices like the wearable infusion pump and the iBOT wheelchair.
