This page is for people who are considering working with me.
The simplest way to understand how I work is this: I care about building things that actually function in the real world. I prefer clarity over ambiguity, follow-through over vague intention, and systems that can be understood and improved over time.
I tend to think in systems rather than isolated tasks. That means I usually want to understand how the moving parts fit together, where the constraints are, what the actual objective is, and what will make the work durable rather than temporary.
I work best with people who
- are honest and direct
- take responsibility for their work
- are willing to think, not just execute blindly
- debrief regularly and learn from past experiences
- care about outcomes, not just visible activity
- want to build something useful, real, and worth maintaining
I do not work well in environments where
- commitments are treated casually
- communication is indirect, evasive, or unclear
- systems are ignored or constantly bypassed
- there is no agreed upon system of work
- important problems are hidden instead of surfaced
- urgency repeatedly replaces thinking
What helps me contribute well
- a clear understanding of the problem
- access to the relevant context, systems, and people
- enough trust and autonomy to think and build
- a clear and reasonable timeline to address the problem
- visible priorities and decision-making
- a willingness to improve the underlying structure, not just patch symptoms
What to include when reaching out
- what you need
- why it matters
- what already exists
- what access is available
- why you think I am a fit
- what kind of support you want
If there is strong alignment, things tend to move quickly and productively.
