This page captures the convictions I live and work by.

These are not abstract preferences. They are operating principles that affect how I make commitments, build with other people, handle difficulty, and judge whether something is worth doing.

My ethos is still evolving, but these ideas have remained durable enough to shape how I move through the world.

  1. Honesty
  2. Love and befriend myself
  3. How it gets done matters
  4. Do what needs to be done to get it done
  5. Keep going
  6. Transparency makes things easier, truer, and more authentic
  7. I do not have to reach every milestone to be okay
  8. Do exactly what I say I will do
    1. Do not promise or say things I cannot do
    2. Others should be able to expect that I will do what I said I would do
  9. Go find, get, experience, and share the good things in the world
  10. Only work on things that have a real possibility of being put into production. If something never reaches production, it may still teach, but it is usually an expensive lesson.
