This page captures the convictions I live and work by.
These are not abstract preferences. They are operating principles that affect how I make commitments, build with other people, handle difficulty, and judge whether something is worth doing.
My ethos is still evolving, but these ideas have remained durable enough to shape how I move through the world.
- Honesty
- Love and befriend myself
- How it gets done matters
- Do what needs to be done to get it done
- Keep going
- Transparency makes things easier, truer, and more authentic
- I do not have to reach every milestone to be okay
- Do exactly what I say I will do
- Do not promise or say things I cannot do
- Others should be able to expect that I will do what I said I would do
- Go find, get, experience, and share the good things in the world
- Only work on things that have a real possibility of being put into production. If something never reaches production, it may still teach, but it is usually an expensive lesson.
